Wi-Connect ![tm]

As more and more travelers take their computers on the road, they want Internet access for email, browsing and file transfers. It is part of the trip!  Modem access by phone line is ok, but, slow inconvenient, and unreliable. Today’s traveler wants reliable, high speed internet access right where they sit.

The huge success of wireless networks based on world-wide the standard [802.11, Wi-Fi] is making wireless connections easier to find. The business traveler has seen high speed wireless internet services spring up in special areas [“hotspots”] at cafes, hotels, convention centers, and airports. At these hotspots, the traveler simply opens their computer, with a wireless adapter, logs in [or pays via the screen] and starts working.

Roaming - The Wi-Connect Pay-toPlay service has Roaming Agreements with other hotspot providers, allowing Wi-Connect users to take their password with them to over a thousand [soon to be thousands] of partnered sites without additional payment, and vise versa. Accessories - Users who need a wireless adapter can get them at any computer or electronics store. The user's wi-fi adapter is the user's responsibility to have installed and working.
