Products - SoftBill r2.2SoftCopy Technologies announces the latest release of "SOFTBILL", it's multi-tenant/student telephone rebilling application. "SoftBill release 2.2" offers many new features that add greater robustness to existing functions, and adds several new flavors of SoftBill for a greater variety of customer needs. SoftBill has retained it's easy user interface and new features blend in to this framework.SoftBill has been developed to support SoftCopy's own student rebilling service business and is used every day in those operations. The bundled SoftBill Pak covers three (3) functional areas: 1. Call Accounting, 2. Accounts Receivable, and 3. Customer Service. SoftBill [items 2&3] and Call Accounting can be purchased separately or bundled. SoftCopy Technologies announces the following versions of the SoftBill Product Family. SoftBill rel-2.2 - an enhancement to the existing SoftBill application that offers [on-demand] guest billing features, improved batch transactions and site reporting functions. SoftBill Plus - a new high end version of SoftBill for advanced users; adds importing from and linking to multiple call accounting systems with some markup options, adds automated recurring fees application. SoftScript - provides formula-based phone [dis/re]connection according to individual credit limits via scripted PBX terminal session. SoftServ - a customer service Web Application. Allows customer self-service with account information lookup plus electronic bill presentment and payment screens. SoftCopy Technologies is a provider of telecommunications services and products, including; design and procurement consulting, telecommunication services [voice and data] resale, telephone rebilling services, and call accounting/ telephone rebilling applications. New Features: SoftBill rel-2.2 offers improved call import, batch transactions, site reporting and adds guest [on-demand] billing. The following enhancements are included in the new version of SoftBill; [available 1stQuarter 2001]
Batch Transactions - The use of departments and department-groups will be simplified and expanded for batch process filters. Batch payment options are being added to the current individual payment functions. Reports - Some reports and past payment-fee transactions can now be generated for a range of bill periods, not just for the current one. Import/Export - Transactions, Call Records and Account Summaries can be imported to and exported from SoftBill. This allows archiving/restoring of SoftBill billing period data and provides a standard SoftBill format for communicating with other accounting systems.
Import Linking [to Call Records] - allows SoftBill to link directly into the Call Accounting system(s) for more timely and frequent data updates. Recurring Fees - automates assessment of multiple recurring fees to customer accounts.
Online E-Payments - allows customers to pay their bills on-line with either their credit card or checking account. Payment entries are batched and submitted for processing. The results are posted in the account and related fees can be accessed. SoftBill Web eliminates the writing/posting/handling/depositing of paper checks. |
