Organization: SoftCopy Technologies is a company founded in 1995 and owned by
Randy Bryan. SoftCopy is a "virtual" organization with several affiliated
companies providing expertise in their respective areas; Cabling, Networking,
Telephone Systems, Video Systems, Wide Area Communications. SoftCopy provides
design and project management expertise.
Mission: To further the intra- and inter-communication infrastructure of organizations. To provide data-voice-video communications systems, designs and installations for local and wide area access.
Founder's Background:
Mr. Bryan has over 25 years experience and achievement in computers, computer networking, communications, and computer-telephony-integration.
- Consultant/Salesman, designing structured cabling and network systems, and assisting the selection of telephone and video systems for the Education Market.
- Founder of SoftCopy and ADVOX, developing and selling voice messaging systems for the Healthcare Market. Mr. Bryan authored a 30K line client-server database and voice application for LAN-WAN environments.
- Worldwide Sales Manager for a very successful Sevin-Rosen backed startup, selling networked imaging-mapping super-workstations to the oil industry.
- Salesman for IBM (supercomputers) and Digicon (VAX-FPS superminis)
- Seismic Signals Analyst and Operations Manager for super-mini-computers.
- Field Technician, for operation, service and design of large phased-array sonar systems, field computer engineer.
Mr. Bryan is quite skilled at researching business/technology opportunities, finding and quantifying solutions and directing the implementations. He graduated from Cornell University Engineering School with a BS in Electrical Engineering, and has one patent application in his name.
